I left the retreat feeling like a completely new person, I even lost 3 kgs which was an added bonus! The fresh juices and healthy food were delicious and the workshops practical and informative. The coaching and hypnotherapy really helped me to relax and let go of some of things that were preventing me from looking after myself as well as I need to. This is the first time I have done anything like this and did not know what to expect. Julie and her team looked after us all so well with juices, vegie broths, massages, hypnotherapy, cupping, clay masks, yoga, workshops, bush walks and the perfect breakfast – literally breaking our fast. A Fantastic way to reset and refocus in the tranquility of Hazeldene a beautiful property in the Yarra Vally, approximately 1hr 30 min from Melbourne. Julie is hands on the entire time, making each individual organic cold pressed juices and organic vegetable broth herself. A passionate personal trainer, hypnotheripist, coach and teacher she shares a wonderful insight on exercise, health and nutrition. I had a wonderful time at the retreat and more importantly feel amazing, I would absolutely recommend it for anyone looking to do a great detox.
It was a very relaxing and healing experience for me. I have definitely seen measured improvement in my injury and pain levels. Having those few days to both focus on and let go of the tension and pain was priceless. Massage, juices, broth,… everything was great. Big thanks.

This was my first health retreat and juice detox. Julie and Deb are perfect hosts, I never felt obliged to join in activities, plenty of time to do your own thing which was heaven. They are both very passionate about health and supporting others, very knowledgeable with their crafts. I would recommend this to anyone who needs timeout and a reboot. Had a great time.
The January 2018 detox retreat was amazing. While there was plenty of activity offered, I never felt pressured to attend anything if I needed to simply rest. Julie is a fantastic host – tuned in to everyone’s needs with calmness, wisdom and humour. I’m already booked in to the June Winter retreat!!
I recently completed a six day retreat with Julie in Thailand and it has proven to be a truly wonderful experience that continues with me in my everyday life as a busy mum. At the start I felt flat and somewhat stuck in a rut but came out the other end motivated, educated and inspired. Julie has a very gentle, no pressure approach and was a vault of knowledge. A further benefit included losing a dress size, which I am happy to say has been maintained. Thank you Julie. Although I am now doing my own ‘juicing’ I’m looking forward to joining you again in the future.

I did a 3 day/4 night retreat with Julie and it was really special. I’ve never done a juice detox before, so it was challenging but ultimately transformative. I lost weight and more importantly, came home with my mind re-set and feeling positive about making some healthier life choices. Julie was a gentle and knowledgeable guide who offered us bush walks, yoga and plenty of space to unwind in the spa and sauna. I will definitely be coming back.
Highly recommend this experience. Julie and her team are down to earth, supportive and highly knowledgable. I’m a skeptical person but this is a true health and wellness focused program, especially as a reset if you can’t do it on your own. My body is still thanking me. Would definitely do again.
I got so much more out of the experience than I expected. Julie is fantastic, as is her assistant Mary. Great bunch of women were doing the retreat with me, providing a safe space to share and heal. The venue is also really beautiful and located in gorgeous grounds. Importantly, a week after leaving the retreat, I have a clear mind, I’m off sugar, caffeine and grains and looking forward to continuing health gains. It’s wonderful to be without cravings.
This retreat delivered everything I wanted it to. Gorgeous location, great accommodation. It offers an informal yet structured and rigorous approach, deep engagement with wellbeing practices and generous doses of motivation and relaxation. You can opt in or out of activities. Julie has a very practical approach to living well. The juice fasting can present little waves of challenge, but they pass, and it’s surprisingly doable. The retreat environment, supervision and camaraderie makes it as easy as possible. You leave with a real sense of triumph. This was my first retreat, so I have nothing to compare this with, but I think it’s excellent value for money. I feel invigorated and clear, and hope to do it again.
I attended the retreat in January 2022 6 nights and it has transformed me. I really needed to get away and detox after 2 years of stress. The programme was awesome I happened to have a great bunch of people join me as we were supportive of each other including Julie who was very supportive and kind. The yoga sessions were amazing. I loved the juices and since attending the retreat I have dropped 11 kilos. I have not looked back no more headaches, sinus pain sugar cravings. My blood test have improved considerably since starting my lifestyle change. The rooms were very comfortable and would definately return. I had a wonderful time on a 5 night juice retreat with Julie. Hazeldene was a stunning setting for some much needed R&R. Julie has achieved the perfect balance of activities and rest. I can’t pretend fasting wasn’t a little challenging, but the beauty of taking time dedicated to me, to rest when I needed rest, read, swim, sauna etc meant my body wasn’t competing with me for any other purpose. I was able to discover and eliminate foods that have not been good for me personally. Julie’s background (personal trainer, yoga teacher and hypnotherapist) combines to make her the perfect host for such an experience. Learning about fitness and nutrition along the way (although, strategically leaving the food discussions until the last day! Ha ha). The familiarity of her soothing voice after 4 days of yoga and relaxation has lead to very effective hypnosis therapy with her since the retreat as well! What a bonus!
I had never attended a health retreat before and I didn’t know how I would cope with juice fasting and broth for dinner for a whole week. The program was perfect for my needs. The venue is comfortable, secluded and set in a beautiful green and serene environment. The days were well paced and we were able to participate at our own pace. The group was interesting and engaging in conversations made it easy to get through the week as we were able to draw support from each other as well as from Julie and her wonderful assistant Mary. The retreat was transformative. It exceeded my expectations, and I left feeling empowered, revived, and inspired to live my best healthy life. I thought I might struggle with 4 days of juice and broth, but to be honest I didn’t feel hungry at all. We had so many options to relax and pamper ourselves, whether having a massage, nightly yoga and meditation, bushwalking, swimming, or just sitting quietly reading in the beautiful bush surroundings. We didn’t have time to feel hungry! Julie was a wonderful calming and available presence, happy to help us on our health journey, without judgement or pressure. I would definitely consider making the retreat an annual break to help re-boot my health and exercise goals.
